2025 Bear Archery Traditional Bows & Accessories

Introducing our new 2025 traditional items! We added four new items to our traditional collection including two new recurve bows, a new take down riser with revamped grip, and a take down bow case to protect your favorite bow. 

Cheyenne 

The Cheyenne was a collaboration between father and son – Grant Neil Byce II, Fred Bear's retired master bowyer, and Grant Neil Byce III, Bear Archery's director of operations. The bow's length handles the swept-back style limbs of the Take-Down, while the grip is designed to feel full in the hand while incorporating the half-moon styling reminiscent of Fred's favorite bows of the early 60s. 

Super Kodiak 64” 

Introducing the 64" Super Kodiak, an evolution of the legendary Super Kodiak recurve bow that Fred Bear himself favored for many years. With its longer limbs, this recurve bow offers an even smoother draw and unparalleled stability, making it ideal for traditional archers seeking precision and power. Fred Bear Take Down – Hammer Grip Edition 

For over 50 years, the Fred Bear Take Down bow has set the standard for traditional archery, and now it has been reimagined with the introduction of the 'Hammer Grip,' providing a low-profile option for a more relaxed, comfortable hold. This new grip option, available in both A and B length risers, preserves the legendary feel of Fred Bear’s original design while offering more flexibility. With its timeless craftsmanship and modern updates, the Take Down continues to be a trusted choice for both traditional archers and bowhunters alike. 

Take Down Bow Case 

Protect your takedown bow in style with our Black Takedown Bow Case, featuring the iconic white Bear Archery Traditional logo prominently displayed on the front. The interior is lined with a soft, sherpa-like material in a red and black plaid pattern, offering both a stylish look and a cushioned environment for your bow. The case also includes two limb socks and a riser sock for added protection.
