Once the sun begins to rise Fred has bulls and cows responding to his calls all around him. With a group of cows closing in on him fast and a bugling bull elk on their trail in the distance, Fred has a decision to make – shoot the lead cow at 21-yards or wait on the bull to come into range.

Fred Eichler, is a legendary bowhunter who became the first traditional archer to successfully harvest the Super Slam of 29 North American big-game species with a recurve bow. He is a man of personal achievement. His passion for bowhunting has taken him all over the world in pursuit of his next adventure. Fred truly believes that any animal with a bow is a trophy. His personal quest to complete the North American Super Slam with a recurve bow reflects that state of mind. Fred has been fortunate enough to share his love and enthusiasm of the sport with fellow bowhunters across the country through his television shows and personal appearances.
