VIDEO: The Little Things - GoWild, Bear Archery, and Lancaster Archery

The legacy a hunting buddy leaves can impact generations of hunters. GoWild member, Kevin Osborn, didn’t grow up in a hunting family. His path to learning to hunt and fish has been a less traditional one. A path that has been fostered by a man that mentored Kevin on hunting whitetail, turkey, trout and bass fishing.

Kevin gained a mentor as an adult in his neighbor, JD. Over the years, JD and Kevin’s families became close and bonded through their outdoor adventures. In addition to a great neighbor, Kevin found a mentor who taught him much of his outdoor knowledge.

Sadly, the GoWild community lost JD, and Kevin lost one of his best friends and mentors. It’s in remembrance of JD that we share this story of the importance of mentorship.
